Boots, Bunnies & Big Nights Out 🐰

4/14 - Easter Events, Cowboy Boots, Tree Sale, & More

Good Morning, Golden! Starting this week, The Goose will land in your inbox on Mondays only—and I’ll be experimenting a bit with the format. But don’t worry, it’s still business as usual: events, live music, local gems, and lovable weirdness. To everyone who responded to the survey, thank you SO much—it really helps. 🫶 Okie dokie, let’s get to it…

This Saturday, the kids are taking over town: free egg hunts in the morning, GHS prom at night. Cue the sequins and sugar highs.

🤠 Western on Washington This Friday

Western on Washington is back—and y’all, it’s bringing the boot-scootin’ and the rock ‘n roll. This high-energy night kicks off with a saloon stroll through downtown Golden, where ticket holders get a signature sip at Trailhead Taphouse, the Brick Room, and Atomic Cowboy. Then it’s over to Buffalo Rose for a genre-bending lineup featuring Sugarfoot, a Cowboy Carter tribute, and a finale with Ten Years Gone.

Grab your concert tee or cowboy hat, and come support Mitchell Elementary with a night of dancing, drinks, a silent auction, and delightfully questionable karaoke. Bonus points if you sponsor a teacher ticket and help give our hardworking educators the night out they deserve. See you under the disco saddle. 🤠✨
